The ability to work on and publish drafts of a Worksite within MyWorksites allows for greater control and privacy. This feature ensures that draft Worksites remain private until you are ready for others to view them, improving workflow management and reducing unnecessary clutter in search results.
Key Features and Benefits
Private Drafts: Keep Worksite drafts visible only to your organisation until you're ready to publish, maintaining control over visibility.
Publish/Unpublish Control: Easily manage when your Worksite becomes available for external review, giving you flexibility in project timing.
Improved Search Results: Keep drafts out of search results until they are finalised, reducing distractions and ensuring only relevant Worksites appear.
How to Use Draft and Published Worksites
Draft Worksites
Visibility: While working on a draft, the Worksite is visible only to you and members of your organisation with editing permissions.
Publish Option: The "Publish" button is available next to the "Submit" button, allowing you to make the draft visible to external users.
Note: Unpublished drafts remain invisible to RCAs or other organisations.
Publishing vs. Submitting
Publishing: Publishing a Worksite does not mean submitting it for processing. A published draft remains a draft and is not processed by RCAs.
Submitting: When you submit a draft, it automatically gets published and submitted for RCA processing in one step.
Managing Published Draft Worksites
Unpublishing: If a draft has already been published, you can click the "Unpublish" button, which appears next to the submit button. This will make the draft invisible to anyone outside your organisation.
Worksite Menu and Search Functionality
Worksite Menu Filters: The Worksite menu now includes two filters:
"My Draft & Published Draft Worksites"
"My Submitted & Declined Worksites"
Unpublished Drafts in Search: Your unpublished drafts will appear in search results only for users within your organisation.
Published Drafts in Search: Once published, the Worksite becomes visible in search results for all users with access to the project.
