Search tables are displaying results relevant to the user's organisation(s)

Search table results are limited to Worksites and TMPs of relevance to the user's organisation. This approach reduces noise and helps users to find what matters most to individual users and their specific work context.

Benefits

  • Enhanced relevance of search results returned

  • Prioritised results by focussing on the user's organisation(s) as a priority

  • Performance improvements for Worksite and TMP search

Which results are visible through Search?

Search now intelligently displays results relevant to the organisation or multiple organisations users can operate under. This streamlined approach ensures users see Worksites and TMPs where they have a direct connection, making information discovery more efficient.

Accessing Worksites and TMPs outside of the Search tool is unchanged. Users can still view these though the Planning Map, the Worksite and TMP Coordination feature or be provided direct links to the Submitted or Accepted Worksites and TMPs that they have permission to access.

For RCA users:

When operating under an RCA, users will see Search results for Worksites (Published Draft, Submitted, Accepted and Declined) and TMPs (Submitted, Accepted and Declined) for which they serve as the primary or secondary RCA.

Where RCA users have additional roles under an organisation, the search results are inclusive of these other organisations as well (explained below).

For Applicants and other users:

Search will display results for users who are directly linked to:

  • a Worksite (Draft - Published, Submitted, Accepted) if they are in the same Organisation as the Applicant (creator of the the Worksite), Client/Principal, Bill Payer or additional contacts (see screenshot below)

  • a Worksite Draft - not Published if they are in the same Organisation as the Applicant (creator of the Worksite)

  • an Accepted TMP if:

    • the user has permission to search for the parent Worksite of the TMP (see above for being able to search for Worksites)

    • the user has been added under the TMP Permissions section of the TMP (see screenshot below )

    • the user has been added as the Layout Designer on a Layout in the TMP

    • the user has been added as an STMS to a Deployment in the TMP

  • a Draft or Submitted TMP if:

    • the user is in the same organisation as either the Applicant of the TMP or parent Worksite (creator of the TMP or parent Worksite)

    • the user has been added under the TMP Permissions section of the TMP (see screenshot above)

    • the user has been added as the Layout Designer on a Layout in the TMP

Tip: If you are a party needing to work in relation a Generic TMP, ensure the initial applicant adds your company to the TMP Permissions (see screenshot above).

Additional parties can be added to the TMP Permissions after the TMP is accepted, without the need for a revision.

If a user is operating under multiple organisations, the Search function intelligently aggregates results across all organisations for which the user holds permissions.

This multi-organisation approach also applies when users have access to both an RCA and an applicant organisation.
