Where you need to work on the State Highway network, use myWorksites system to:
- create and lodge an Early Access Request (EAR);
- submit a Traffic Management Plan (TMP);
- submit a Generic TMP (or PARS).
Create and submit an EAR
The functionality to create an EAR has been added to the myWorksites system.
The EAR application is capturing information similar to that of a Worksite - you will notice the workflows are similar in some of the functionality.
As an applicant or contractor user, use the shortcut on the right hand side of the Applicant Dashboard ("Create a new Early Access Request"), or select "Create Worksite" from the main menu to start the process.
Once you select "NZTA Nationwide" as the RCA, the option for "Early Access Request" will be available under "Application Type".
Step through the workflow to provide all required information before you submit the EAR application to NZTA.
Create and submit a TMP
For TMP applications to The New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA), create a Worksite and set the "Application Type" to "Worksite". Further information on the Worksite creation process can be found here.
Publish your Worksite and submit it. Then create a TMP.
Note - this is not an application for a CAR when you submit to NZTA. You may still need to submit a Corridor Access Request (CAR) outside of the myWorksites system.
For further information on creating a TMP, read on here.
Submit a Generic TMP (or a PARS)
When you want to submit a pre-approved re-usable scheme (PARS) to NZTA, create a Worksite and then set the "Application Type" to "Global Permit. Continue through the Worksite creation process.
When you have finished entering data on your Global Permit, click the "Create TMP" button - this will create a single Generic TMP in the myWorksites system.
Upload any relevant methodology documentation to the Generic TMP. Then submit the Generic TMP (or PARS).
Then "Publish" and submit your application.
