Overview

Assurance Checks in myWorksites provide a digital system for Officers to record site compliance assessments. Assurance checks can be linked to relevant TMPs or Worksites, or created as standalone records. The system generates PDFs of captured data, captures completed Assurance Checks against TMPs or Worksites, and enables reporting across your jurisdiction.

Why use Assurance Checks?

No more lost paperwork or orphaned reports All site assessment data is linked directly to TMPs or Worksites, creating a traceable record. Everything is stored in one place and accessible to everyone with appropriate permissions.

Automatic PDF generation and distribution The system creates PDFs of completed Assurance Checks and emails them to specified recipients. No manual report writing or distribution required.

Complete history and transparency View all past Assurance Checks for a TMP or Worksite instantly, either from the record's history panel or via the Reports table. This creates a comprehensive oversight and common understanding across your team.

Prevent duplicate records The system only allows one Assurance Check to be "In Progress" for a TMP or Worksite at a time, preventing confusion and duplicate data entry.

Flexible workflow Save your progress as you complete each section in the Assurance Check process. If you need to pause and return to finish an Assurance Check, you can do so.

Easy compliance reporting Export filtered data to CSV for reporting, internal KPIs, or tracking compliance trends over time.

Who uses Assurance Checks?

Officers with Auditor permissions can create and manage Assurance Checks in the myWorksites system. If you don't see the Assurance Checks module in myWorksites (in the menu bar at the top of the screen), you do not have the required permissions. Contact your RCA Administrator to request Auditor permissions.

What can you check?

You can create Assurance Checks for:

  • TMPs (Traffic Management Plans) with Submitted, Approved, or Declined status

  • Worksites (CARs and EARs) with Submitted, Approved, or Declined status - only if no TMP exists for that Worksite

  • Global Permits with Submitted, Approved, or Declined status - can always be checked, regardless of whether Generic or site-specific TMPs exist

  • Standalone Assurance Checks - create an Assurance Check without linking to a TMP or Worksite

Note: You can only see and check TMPs and Worksites within your jurisdiction. This includes multi-jurisdiction TMPs where your RCA is named as Secondary RCA.
