Differences in results returned to users when using 'Quick Search' and the Search tab.

Quick Search

Quick Search (the magnifying glass icon displayed in the top right hand corner) returns a list of results where the search query matches the information on the Worksite ID or Worksite name, the TMP ID, reference and description.

How to use it:

  • Spot the magnifying glass icon in the top right corner

  • Click it and type a Worksite ID, Worksite name, TMP ID, or part of the reference into the pop-up field

  • The system will return up to 10 matching results instantly

  • Keyboard shortcuts to open the Search field are CTRL + K (or Command + K for Mac)

What’s different to Search:

The Quick Search feature shows broader results beyond just your organisation’s direct permissions. The system does not limit this search to an organisation’s or individual user’s permissions.


Important note:

Whilst you can find more items through Quick Search, your ability to edit or take actions will still depend on your specific permissions for each Worksite/TMP.

Search

The Search tab provides reporting functionality for Worksites and TMP for which the user has permissions as Applicant, Contact, Bill Payer or STMS. Other users need to be explicitly added and given permissions to the Worksite or the TMP as an Affected Party for the system to return the expected result.
