Why Site Cleared Time is restricted after 5:30 AM

  • System logic: For early morning work, any activity beginning before 5:30 AM is considered part of the prior day in MyWorksites. Therefore, the system expects the site to be cleared by 5:30 AM unless it’s a continuously deployed layout.

  • Continuous deployment exception: Continuous deployment indicates that equipment or traffic management elements remain on-site across multiple days, allowing for site-cleared times beyond 5:30 AM.

Workarounds for selecting a Site Cleared Time After 5:30 AM

If your work requires a site-cleared time after 5:30 AM, there are two ways to adjust your application:

  1. Set the Layout to continuous deployment:

    • In the layout settings, mark the layout as continuously deployed. This allows for more flexibility in selecting site-cleared times, as the system will now recognise the layout as active over multiple days.

  2. Adjust the First Sign-In and Traffic Control Times:

    • If the work is not intended to be continuous, update the First Sign-In time to 6:00 AM and Traffic Control In to 6:15 AM. This change aligns the start time with the current day, enabling the selection of a later site-cleared time.

Summary

When setting up early morning work in myWorksites, keep in mind:

  • Before 5:30 AM start times are considered part of the previous day.

  • Use continuous deployment or adjust start times to allow for later site-cleared times.
